🦷 DIY Tuesday: Natural Toothpaste Recipe You’ll Love! 🦷

Hey there, Teepow family! It’s DIY Tuesday, and today we’re diving into a fun and natural way to keep those pearly whites sparkling without the need for any harsh chemicals. 💫 We’re making our very own Natural Toothpaste using some simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Ready to whip up a fresh batch? Let’s get started!

🧪 What You’ll Need:

- Kaolin Clay (20g) – The gentle

that works wonders for removing impurities while being super kind to your enamel.

- Bicarbonate Soda (60g) – This magical powder helps whiten teeth naturally and gives your toothpaste that slight fizz. It’s a gentle abrasive, perfect for scrubbing away surface stains.

- Coconut Oil (100g) – Our base ingredient that adds a smooth texture and naturally fights bacteria.

- Peppermint Essential Oil (10-15 drops) – Because who doesn’t love that fresh minty feeling after brushing? This adds a burst of freshness and has natural antibacterial properties!

- Xylitol (15g) – Optional, but this natural sweetener is tooth-friendly and adds a hint of sweetness without any guilt!

🥄 Method:

1. In a small bowl, combine the kaolin clay and **bicarbonate soda. Give it a good stir to ensure they’re well mixed—this is your natural cleaning base!

2. Slowly add in coconut oil until you get a thick, creamy consistency. It’s like mixing up a paste, so don’t be afraid to adjust the amount until it feels right.

3. Drop in your peppermint essential oil and give it another good stir. The aroma alone will have you feeling fresh and ready to go!

4. If you’re adding xylitol for a touch of sweetness, now’s the time to sprinkle it in. Mix everything well until you have a smooth, creamy paste.

5. Transfer your toothpaste into a small, clean jar with a lid. You can use it right away or store it in a cool place for up to 2 weeks.

✨ How to Use:

- Simply dip your toothbrush into the jar and scoop a small amount of toothpaste. Brush as usual, making sure to rinse well.

- Enjoy that minty fresh feeling and the natural whitening boost every time you brush!

💡 Why I Love This Recipe:

This toothpaste is simple, effective, and free from all those unnecessary chemicals. The kaolin clay is super gentle, so you don’t have to worry about damaging your enamel, and the bicarbonate soda works its magic to keep stains at bay. Plus, it’s a fun and easy way to experiment with making your own products at home. Not to mention, you’ll know exactly what’s in it—just pure, natural goodness!

Perfect for the wholeFamily 😃

🌿 Tips and Tricks:

- If you prefer a thicker paste, add more kaolin clay. If you like it a bit runnier, just increase the coconut oil.

- Want to switch up the flavor? Try adding a drop or two of cinnamon or tea tree essential oil for a different twist!

-it the Toothpaste is too think let it set in the fridge for 10 minutes and mix with a whisk or fork to lightly soften-

So, there you have it—your very own homemade toothpaste that’s as good for the planet as it is for your smile! Let me know if you try it out and share your results. Happy brushing! 🪥✨
